My wife and I spend at least three trips to ghe Keys a year. love the fun and crazy time. Are there others who go down to the Keys for the party as well? We have spent Xmas and New Years there the past two years. Great time. As well does anyone enjoy riding their bikes down there (motorcycles)?
We have our favorite hangouts to party naked as well as the hotel.

I'm sure there are a many PNB'ers heading to the Keys. The more we look around, the more we realize that there are PNB'ers everywhere!!! Starting to think that the people that like wearing clothes are in the minority.

I would like to go to Fantasy Fest in Key West in October, but cannot find a place to stay that isn't $400 a night. Do you have any ideas?

Buffrunner... I have had trouble getting a reasonable place for that time as well. You have to start almost a year in advance. check out Sea Breeze Inn,Key West. May be a good spot at that time. Myself I am still trying to connect with somthing.

One of the things you can do is contact www.CastawaysTravel.com and they will most likely be able to find you the most reasonably priced place to stay and get you booked.

There are not any real Nude Beaches but a few places that are clothing optional. Atlantic Shores is a nice pool and bar area (music) and has long pier that you can enjoy the sun, then you can go down the steps to the water, very shallow and comfortable. Only problem is if you are walking around you have to have your bottom area covered (towel,etc). There are a couple of high rise hotels near by. It is a fun place, very lively but safe. You can meet ALL kinds of people. Then there is the Garden of Eden on top of the Bull and Whistle bar. The third floor roof is clothing optional, great sun during the day (they supply towels, bar on the roof. Pretty cool spot to hang out for awhile. The bed and breakfast we stay at has a great sun deck by the pool for laying out nude.
We go and hang out and have a good time. The place is my rest area, I have to go and recharge my batteries every so often.

Aloha. Key West is my farvorite topic. I love getting a little wild and crazy there. I have posted some review of my favorite wild spots in key west at my website www.captainryan.com . I have seen some toplessness at smathers beach...infact i witnessed a girls gone wild video being shot on the beach. i wrote a short story about it and put some still photo on the Fantasy fest page.

We've been to Hedo, HBR and CRC (when they were open). You will find that the members on this site have been all over the place trying to find the perfect PNB spot.

We stay in a B&B on Truman Ave., one block back from Duval. It all depends on the group staying there during the period we are there. A lot of the time we ahve been very comfortable being nude. They do have a great sun deck and pool which when things get cool at nigth and peole get comfortable it is a lot of fun.
If anyone is down there druing June the 20 thru the 24th let us know, will be glad to have a few drinks and party naked.

Help Needed !
Traveling down from Orlando, stopping in Miami for a couple of nights, then going down to the Keys. Any advice on places to stay where we can get naked !

If in Miami, there is a place called the "Roof Top Hotel", the pool is on the roof and clothing optional. Hotel is going through a rebuild but has had some good reviews. This is a lifstyle hotel but very friendly from the comments I have heard from people who have stayed. During the week is calm but the weekend is fun. There is also HaulOver Beach just a mile from there, clothing optional. This is all North Miami. You can check this out on the web. I have been to the beach and it is great, just pay $4 for parking and enjoy the day, it has life guards and very secure. The South end of the beach is textile. So if stop make sure you park in the north lot, it is a long walk from the the South parking lot (lesson learned).
In the keys we hang out at Atlantic Shores to sun bath nude, several B&B's have nude decks and pool areas. Our evening hang out is the Garden of Eden roof top bar which is clothing optional. This is located in the Bull and Whistle bar (Charles st. and Duval).
If you are down during the 20th of June let us know, we hope to have our bikes down on this trip.

I am headed to live in KW after going there on vacation for years, the economy is horrible in Cleveland so I am leaving June 6th, see you all there!!!!

I have been to KW lots and lots of times, and ussually sunned at Atlantic Shores but I understand they are closing? Along with the others that have closed there is just the Garden of Eden. Anywhere still open?

I just heard that Atlantic Shores will be closing in October of this year. Condos will be taking over the Pool and pier area from what I understand. This means everyone has to enjoy it while they can.
Garden of Eden is still going strong to my knowledge. There has to be another spot. I will be checking out others as we visit in June.

After years of enjoying the PNB life in Pville Oh my wife and I are heading to Key West for some sun and fun. Kris found some great airfare and room rates, we found another couple to go so Fantasy Fest here we come.
I'm also doing an advance research mission for the MoreRons at www.MoreRons.com. Rumor has it that a lot of people with Ron in their names really like to PNB and show up in Key West on a regular basis. I'm supposed to find new members. Always looking for a few MoreRons! Look forward to seeing everyone in Key West.

We just finished our 11 day road trip through Florida. Made our stop in Orlando for a couple days at Cypress Cove (Nude Resort). We stayed the weekend and had agreat time and met some new friends. Great place to get naked. Had a great motorcyle ride with several member there.
Traveled to Fort Lauderdale for a quick visit and got naked there with a wild crowd. That one I had to slow down on.
Headed to Key West hoping to ride the bikes the last four hours but the weather gods decided NO Way!. Had to trailer the bikes to KW. Did get in some riding there but not much, due to storms coming through.
Got naked at the B&B, met a great couple from Germany who enjoyed riding and getting naked.
Did not get to see any real pretty KW sunsets this trip, only sunset we saw was the one driving through NC.
Resting up for the fourth weekend, We will be NAKED and we will be partying NAKED.
(Planning another trip in a few months...ST. Maarten)
Party naked..................Everyone have a great fourth.

Sounds like an awesome trip around Florida, you're making me a bit jealous with all that PNB action. We were just at Cypress Cove ourselves and had a great time. We'll be putting together a trip report very shortly for the site. Just need to drop some finishing touches on it before we post it.

My wife and I have been going to Fantasyfest in Key West
since 2000 and usually hook up with the same crowd each year. This would have been our 6th straight year, but for the obvious. We miss it so that we have planned a trip in March and have already booked for October '06, since their closing has been puched back until next January. We're going to miss that place but will shop around. Of course, we're open to suggestions. Maybe we have already met some of you around the pool or bar!

We probably have met by the pool or grille at Atlantic Shores. Given its size and configuration, we were either stepping over or on one another. As a point of ID, my wife has a tatto of lips on her bottom (a gift to mark her 50th b'day). Ring a bell? Actually, few people in Key West haven't seen it. I'll post a shot in the photo album over the next couple of days.

That is a common identification mark. I believe I saw a few lips tattooed on the rear and other places. I am a visual person once I see somthing I can remember it again. I for one have a geckco on my arm and my wife has some "Morning Glories" across her rear. I was just looking at some last June's pictures and wishing I was there now. Going to plan on going in June again. Glad to hear that the Shores will be open again. Rates are good and the weather is just right. I want to take the bikes down again. Nothing like cruising the keys. Have fun in March.

I think I may have recognized those lips. If I remember they were dark red and very full. At first I thought of the Rolling Stones logo. There were a few of those out on one day I was a the Shores.
I am planning on going to the key in June but I have to go down to Fort Lauderdale in a few weeks for a couple of days. I may have to take a wild ride further south just for the heck of it.
Can never tell, our paths may cross.

Some think my wife is shear attitude, and the lips are only a manifestation. We're headed down to KW the end of March into the first week of April and can't wait. We'll be down again in October. We love the laid back style and feel so far away from things. Any plans to go to FF '06?
Anyone else planning to be at Fantasyfest in October?

Ron here, what a bummer last October. Landing in Ft. Lauderdale and hearing that we couldn't get into the Keys. We made the best of it. We picked up the other couple and had fun in the hotel room until Wilma hit and we lost power. Well we still had fun after that to. Anyway looking forward to trying it again and making the F.F. in 2006. Party Naked its the only way!

We understand completely the mess that Wilma caused. We were suppose to be at Hidden Beach with 34 other couples and we all ended up spread all over the globe.
Things are definately a heck of a lot better now and most of the PNB resorts are now back open.

I know this is the wrong topic on the Board, but...sorry to hear you never made it to Hidden Beach Resort. We were there a couple of years or so back when it first opened. I think there were eleven of us, total, in the resort. We really enjoyed it.

Let me know how Key West is doing. I am planning on going down in June somewhere around the 5th for at least 3 to 4 days. Hope to be partying naked fi not at least buzzed from too many martini's.
Just got back from Fort Lauderdale, moving my brother back to Atlanta. Didn't get a chance to go any further but spent a day at Haulover Beach (Nude side). weather was great and a large crowd. The last time there was not a lot of people there. Great beach!
While in the area you and your wife may want to check out the Roof Top Hotel in Holywood Beach. A couple's hotel and clothing optional (2nd floor up) on the roof top pool and bar. Can be a wild party there at times.
I am trying to coordinate a stop over there on the way down to the Keys in June. We usually fly in to Fort Lauderdale and drive down and enjoy the atmosphere getting there.

Just got back from KW the night before last. Had a great time. There are still signs of the hurricane but the island is busy repairing damage and the place was busy as ever. Things really look pretty good and the gang at Atlantic Shores is as "up" as ever. Weather was in the eighties throughout. Went to "Naked Lunch" for a drink, but it was closed that night. We'll check it out again in October. One guy was crabbing that he wasn't seeing enough skin, so my wife hiked up her "cover-up" (nothing underneath). He saw it all and seemed satisfied, for the time being. We can't wait to go back and would love to hook up with some of you for a drink!

Sounds like you had fun and of course got to get "Naked". We will be there in June.
Did you guys stop by Boca Chica beach? It is off the main rt. 1 and is a nude beach just before you get to KW (10 miles). I have not done this and plan on checking this out. I was told by a friend that this is were all the locals go and catch the rays.
Did you go up to the "Garden of Eden"? That is one of my favorite fun spots day or night.

We have never even heard of Boca Chica beach. In fact, we were originally told that there were no nude beaches in KW. We will definately check into this in October. As for The Garden of Eden, we were up there about 5 years ago. Something happened that really bummed my wife out and she refuses to go back....a long story. We did stop by "Naked Lunch" a clothing optional bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, it was closed that night. Maybe next time...

Try the Best Western on Simonton. They are at the southern end of the island, near the Southernmost Hotel, and not far from Duval St. We stayed there a few years back and paid well under $400 a night. I'm sure prices have gone up somewhat, but it might be worth a try. Let me know how you make out.

Unfortunately, the Best Western is not clothing optional. Atlantic Shores will be open through 2006, and, they have just installed a clothing optional beach. There may be other clothing optional places, but, I'm just not aware of any. I'll get in touch if I hear of anything.

The only clothing optional lodging I've run across in Key West is at some of the B&Bs that cater to gay/lesbian clientele. I wonder if straight couples are welcomed? Any insights? Would love to find c/o lodging in my favorite vacation spot.

We visit a lot down there and there are a couple of places as you note but they are centered to the gay community (male). we stay in a BB and there are several that allow nudity around the pool areas or sun decks. The Chelsea House is good, nice sun deck, depending on the guests, we were naked or topless around the pool in the late evening. Especially after 10 or 11pm.
Marrero's guest Mansion is very open and and has clothing optional pool. But there is not any real clothing optional resort.
While there check out Boca Chia beach about 10 miles north of KW. That is the local nude beach. Is near one of the Naval stations. Check out the Florida Keys Naturists.com. That should be in good shape now for a good day.
We hope to be there late June.

Sorry for this late response.
Atlantic Shores is the only resort in which we've stayed that has a clothing optional pool, and they usually do cater to a gay clientele. We have, however, found them very accepting of all life styles. Let us know how you make out as we too will be looking for other accomodations in '07. Good luck.
